Tweseldown

We had a good but unfortunate day at Tweseldown. We just took Zamio along on the Saturday. He did a good test, a few minor errors, but scored a very good mark of 29.5. He really will do the most fantastic test when he is completely settled. He then jumped a lovely calm clear showjumping round. I was thrilled with this because he really struggles with anxiety in the show jumping ring and can often take off to try and do it as quickly as he can. He is the most talented horse, but he just needs to learn to settle at events. He then flew the cross country, making it all feel so easy. Unfortunately though, he tripped in a hole in the water jump, causing him to fall to his knees and send me flying. Gutted is an understatement because he had tried so hard for me all day and he so did not deserve that. Anyway onwards and upwards, the plus side is he was a super star all day and I think I may have found a way to get through to him, which is really exciting!
